Sony DSC W220 Specification

The Sony DSC W220 has 12 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom lens. There is also a feature that allows you to increase the amount of zoom available if you shoot at lower resolutions. It is available in three colours; silver, black and light blue. At just under 22mm wide you should have no problem slipping the DSC W220 into a pocket.

This type of camera will appeal to someone who is looking for a small camera that offers good ease to use, but does not include too many extra features. The more basic set of features helps to keep the price tag below what you would expect to pay for the top of the range cameras. 

On the back of the camera Sony has included a 2.7 inch LCD screen. Other features include face detection and settings to take photos for playback on a widescreen television or for producing 6 x 4 inch prints without the need to crop your photos. The DSC W220 is also compatible with conversion lenses if you wish to increase the capabilities of the lens.
